Position Description:
As a strategic partner to ICEF’s CEO, executives and talent team, the HR Director will design, execute, and manage ICEF’s talent strategy and long-term vision for growing and developing the ICEF Team while maintaining and strengthening a passionate, collaborative, and committed culture. The HR Director will work closely with school site teams to ensure strong school-based teams and compliance with credentialing and state/local district oversight. As the HR leader within the organization, this person will have oversight over every aspect of HR including:

Reporting: This position reports to the COO/CFO.
FLSA Status: Exempt
Pay Cycle: 12 months

Essential Functions:
HR STRATEGY 20%
- Serve as a strategic HR leader and advisor to the ICEF executive team and the entire ICEF organization.
- Collaborate with the executive and talent teams to develop and execute a comprehensive, strategic short- and long-term plan regarding talent acquisition, talent development, talent retention, workforce productivity, and performance management.
- Continuously assess organizational structure and provide recommended changes.
RECRUITING & ONBOARDING 20%
- Create and communicate employer branding through all relevant outlets which reflects the unique opportunities and top-notch benefits offered by ICEF.
- Oversee all recruiting and onboarding activities to ensure that ICEF hires the highest quality employees and sets each and every new hire up for success.
TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT 15%
- Design and implement an organizational development plan focused on continuous improvement and excellence within the organization through training and development of ICEF’s incredible workforce.
- Collaborate with school leaders to ensure all teachers and staff are high-quality candidates and are compliant with state and local district policies, including ensuring all teachers are on clear credentialing pathways.
TALENT, COMPENSATION & BENEFITS 15%
- Partner with ICEF Team Leads to create the company's talent strategy and put in place HR practices that deliver a high-performance culture and work environment.
- Oversee organization-wide compensation planning with a focus on rewarding and retaining high-performing talent. Create and implement employee incentives and rewards which build employee morale and increase retention across all locations.
- Continuously assess and evolve ICEF benefits programs to ensure they are of the highest quality and in line with the market.
CULTURE 15%
- Lead culture with a focus on building an internal culture and environment that fosters teamwork, innovation, productivity, engagement and fun.
- Measure and manage employee engagement and culture at ICEF through programs and a regular ICEF-wide survey.
HR OPERATIONS & SYSTEMS 15%
- Manage all employee relations and compliance activities, including personnel investigations.
- Manage all company-wide HR Operations / Communications.
- Manage all HR systems to achieve optimal efficiency.
Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
BA/BS in related fields required- Experience building a high performing HR team, with five years of experience leading HR in an education setting preferred.
- Experience in school setting with two years of experience with teacher credentialing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to set goals and develop systems for data tracking progress towards goals
- Ability to build and implement defined processes for HR activities
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has direct supervisory responsibilities.
